I am Dr. Jeri Elizabeth Wieringa. I use the pronouns she/her.

I am a historian of religion in the American context. I earned my PhD in American History from George Mason University in 2019. My research takes place at the intersection of American religious history and the digital humanities, where I focus on questions of data, technology, gender, and millenarianism.

I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. While I neither surf nor snowboard, I love the ocean and the mountains and am always looking for a good hike to tackle.

In my free time, I chase twin toddlers and try my hand at new recipes.
